To accompany the announcement, Microsoft also released a new trailer for the game. In it, Spartan Locke, an ex-Spartan, rescues two hostages from the Covenant and leads them into enemy territory. Afterward, Locke is ambushed and shot in the head by his enemy, and he falls over dead. As Locke's body begins to decompose, the scene cuts to a funeral site with several other fallen Spartans. Locke's friend, Jameson Locke, the first Spartan born on Reach, is seen to be one of the newly deceased. Gameplay The story campaign in the PC version is different from the console versions and consists of three sections. In addition to the standard campaign, there are ten multiplayer maps available. These include three new multiplayer maps from Halo 5: Guardians and two maps from Halo: Reach. Halo: The Master Chief Collection was the first Halo game to release for PC.
